Volunteers are welcomed into our school to support the children with their learning from Nursery to Year 6. We accept both parents and university/college students who wish to complete a placement.

Lots of parents listen to the children read, help children to develop their maths and writing skills, and other practical skills across all aspects of the curriculum. Some of our parents choose to spend three or four days in school with us, where as others can only offer a couple of mornings. Either way, we are always grateful to have the extra support for our children. It would be wonderful to have more parents support across the school and in our KS1 library at lunchtimes.
